How the spin the wheel picker works
Type anything you like into the box, one idea per line, and the wheel divides itself into equal slices. Press Spin and it turns for a few seconds before slowing to a stop at the winner. Use it to decide what to eat tonight, who goes first in a game, which chore to do, or who gets the last samosa.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is chosen by your browser's secure random number generator before the wheel starts to turn. The animation just shows you the result, so every option has exactly the same chance, no matter how long its name is.
How many options can I add?
Up to 60 options, one per line. Blank lines are ignored. Two or more options are needed to spin. Use short names so they stay readable on the wheel; the full text is always shown in the result.
What does Remove winner do?
When it is ticked, the winner is taken off the wheel after each spin. That is perfect for picking turns, teams or who presents first, because nobody gets picked twice.
Are my options saved?
Your list is saved in your own browser so it is still there next time. It is never sent anywhere.
Can I use it with the keyboard?
Yes. Press Tab to reach the Spin button, then press Enter or Space. If your device is set to reduce motion, the wheel skips the long spin and shows the winner straight away.
